The Parents & Friends Association plays an important role in supporting this tradition by bringing families together, fostering connections, and contributing to initiatives that enhance the educational experience of every student. By becoming a member, you can have a voice in supporting school programs, strengthening the school community, and creating opportunities that benefit current and future students.  Whether you can contribute your time, expertise, ideas or a voluntary financial contribution, **every involvement makes a meaningful difference**!  With students travelling from all corners of Victoria, Melbourne High School is home to a truly unique and diverse community. The Parents & Friends Association helps foster a strong sense of belonging by organising a range of events throughout the year, including the Annual Welcome Dinner, Trivia Night, Karaoke Night, Working Bees at Millgrove Camp and Forrest Hill, Community Sporting Activities,  and other social gatherings. These events not only support fundraising for school facilities, maintenance projects, and student resources, but also create valuable opportunities for parents and families to connect, contribute, and form lasting friendships. **Every family has something valuable to offer.** Join the Melbourne High School Parents & Friends Association and help strengthen the community behind our students' success. Any surplus funds we raise are used solely for the benefit of the School and its students — never distributed to members. ## Second Hund Uniform Shop (SHUS) We provide economically priced uniform items for purchase through the SHUS. The SHUS operates most friday lunchtimes, 1pm to 2pm from the dining hall (lower floor). That founding belief still guides everything we do today. In its current form, the MHS Parents & Friends Association is an independently incorporated entity, run entirely by volunteers.
